Hi All,

I  thought I would let everyone know how the Public Inquiry went. The proceedings actually lasted 4 days and not the 3 days as expected starting last Monday 29th January and finishing yesterday 1st February.  We presented 18 witnesses for the applicants side and I am very grateful to each and everyone of them for their time it was very much appreciated.

I would also like to thank the members of the Saving Sully and Lavernock Group Committee who have worked very hard putting our application together, the paper work, photocopying, research ,etc., etc.,  what a team effort together with their attendance at the Inquiry.

We now have to put in our written submission by the16th February, with the Objectors side having to put theirs in by the 9th February.  The Inspector is likely to finalise his report by mid March  ( so fingers crossed ) .

Again many thanks to everyone for their support and assistance.

Kindest regards,

Steve Thomas

Chairman Saving Sully and Lavernock Group

Please encourage your neighbours and other residents to attend.

Sully Sports Fields Reporting

The Newsquest group of newspapers would like to do a photo shoot of as many of the residents of sully who object to the development proposals on Sully Sports Fields.

They would like to take the photographs on this coming Monday 22nd August at 10 am at Sully Library .

They fell that this could be a front page story so I would urge as many residents as possible to attend.

Kind Regards,

Stephen Thomas
